Group Of Diverse International Students Celebrating Graduation

New York (February 9, 2016) – The SOULE Foundation, New York’s premier organization dedicated to inspiring and empowering lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) youth of color, is seeking applications for its inaugural college scholarships to LGBT student leaders in the New York-Metro area.

The Soule Foundation Scholarship program is open to LGBTQ/SGL  high school seniors (who identify as person of color) in the New York-area who have demonstrated outstanding leadership skills and have made significant contributions to their communities. The program offers up to three scholarships of $2500 which can be used to pursue a degree from an accredited college or university.

The Mission at the SOULE Foundation is Inspire and Empower LGBTQ Youth of Color to create a future full of possibilities by connecting them to enrichment resources to create educational, financial and mental balance. Through this scholarship program plans to help LGBTQ Youth of color surpass academic standards, achieve healthy relationships, establish careers that they love and most importantly understand that they matter.
