The world is full of many wonderful people doing many extraordinary things for the LGBT community. However it’s unfortunate that some may never get the recognition that they deserve. However, SOULE is here to change that with our column entitled, Inspired By. Inspired By is a weekly tribute to an amazing soul that encompasses the true essence of SOULE, an individual who promotes Unity, Love & Equality. Each individual selected has inspired us by their various achievements but also their attitude and values.  Today we celebrate the talented actor , Conrad Ricamora.

is an American actor and singer. He is best known for his performance as Ninoy Aquino in the Off-Broadway musical, Here Lies Love. In 2013, Ricamora received Theatre World Award for performance in show. He is most recently known for his recurring role as Oliver, Jack Falahee’s character’s love interest, on the ABC legal drama series, How to Get Away with Murder. Ricamora is currently in Lincoln Center Theater’s Broadway revival of Rodgers and Hammerstein’s The King and I, directed by Bartlett Sher as Lun Tha . (Wiki)

What has kept him grounded to stay true to himself was his experience at the New York’s Pride march in 2001 that transformed his philosophy. “It [was] like this huge explosion of gayness and acceptance, and all these things I’d been ashamed of for so long.” (Out 100)
