Target to remove Gender specific Aisle Signs Gender Gender Revolution: Target moves from gender based signs signs in Target

Over the Next few months , in the kids’ Bedding area, for example, signs will no longer feature suggestions for boys or girls, just kids. In the Toys aisles, they will also be removing references to gender, including the use of pink, blue, yellow or green paper on the back walls of the shelves. ( Target)

Although the company’s change was met with some criticism, most welcomed the change and lauded Target for its decision.
