The one thing that is quite obvious in the community is the attraction for a particular body type. We can all try to deny this claim, but it is quite obvious that the guy who has a six pack and a smile will be the first person any random guy shows their level of attention to. As for the person who is naturally small or smart, they’ll get the short end of the broomstick.

If you don’t appear that you go to the gym often, or your height isn’t up the average height for a man, most men won’t give you that equal level of attention.

Take for example a short person who is skinny or medium sized. He’s college educated and can turn you on with his eloquent vocabulary. If he’s at the nightclub sitting next to a guy who is incredibly bulked and good looking, who do you think will be the first to be asked out by a random guy?

People who are smart but don’t have brawn should experience equal levels of love. All men are not built the same. So to say that there is this mythological standard to be accepted as a black gay man when it comes to receiving attention and affection is borderline dumb.

Since when did being smart turn into an unacceptable thing? When did going to the gym and bulking become part of the list of rules and requirements? It’s time for a change when it comes to our views on things. Observe the brain before you go fully into the brawn.
